Virtual Halloween Party
This year, like everything else, LGA’s Halloween Party looked a little bit different. Thanks to Zoom and Kodak we were able to share a similar sentiment to the fun we’ve had with our costume contests in years past. Members of the LGA team threw it back to their childhood and submitted their best photos as a kid in costume. The rules were simple: submit a photo of yourself before the age of 12 and enter for a chance to win best childhood costume (and some goodies, of course).
The party kicked off with a series of Would You Rather? polls – Halloween edition. Things like, “Would you rather spend the night in a haunted house or a cemetery?”, and “Would you rather eat a bag of candy corn or a bag of smarties?”. There was just one-party rule: no one could mute their microphones unless they had significant background noise. After a revealing series of Would You Rather? questions and comments, we moved on to a slideshow of all our childhood costumes. We kicked it off by guessing who each one was, and at the end of the “show” we voted on best costume. There ended up being a tie between two associates, so we had to run a poll and let everyone vote again between the two winners – and tax associate, Sean Murphy, took home the gold. We also looked through some very cute team member photos of their own children in costume!
It was a fun way to virtually celebrate together and a good excuse to break out the childhood photos. For not being able to celebrate in person, I’d say it was the next best thing…
