LGA proudly embraces DE&I and the opportunity to serve as a catalyst for change throughout our industry and the accounting profession at large. We believe that by fostering an environment of respect, open-mindedness, and a sense of belonging, we become better versions of ourselves, and propel our organization and industry forward. Our journey began with the signing of the CEO Action Pledge and the subsequent education of our firm’s DE&I leadership team and our entire firm. But we also recognize that change cannot come without action and intention. We contribute financially to organizations that support and advance underrepresented groups and communities, celebrate the successes of minority owned businesses, and partner with college and university student run organizations promoting the advancement of underrepresented graduates. All of these efforts are mission focused to increase the diversity of Team LGA while building a firm that welcomes and values each team member’s authentic self.
Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion
LGA Action
Diversity Equity & Inclusion Focus Group
“I think it’s important that a committee was formed to try to diversify an occupation that is predominantly white males. I think there are significant benefits to hearing from people of different backgrounds and cultures, as it often gives unique perspectives that you might not have had otherwise. I’m excited to be part of this group and it’s exciting to see LGA evolve (or at least striving) to be a more diverse company and is accepting of everyone.”
– Eric Janowski, Manager, Audit & Assurance
“I’m grateful for the emphasis LGA places on DE&I, creating a safe work environment where I can show up every day and be my true authentic self.”
– Sarah Goss, Client Relationship Manager
“My favorite aspect of being part of the Focus Group is that DE&I is more than policies and programs here at LGA. It is about structural and behavioral inclusion, different perspectives and seeing the potential of all the team members.”
– Dea Bejleri, Associate, Audit & Assurance

Women’s Affinity Group
LGA’s Women’s Affinity Group is comprised of female team members who collectively embrace, advocate, and discuss challenges related to the elevation of women in the accounting industry. In support of our initiative, Matt Touma serves as our male ally and catalyst to voice concerns and opportunities to our Leadership Team. Our mission is to discuss issues specifically affecting women in the workforce as it relates to career progression. As a team, our goal is to actively support other women by initiating courageous conversations to address problems, concerns, and opportunities to share with LGA’s Leadership Team in an effort to effect change while cultivating a progressive and inclusive culture within our firm.
“It is a privilege to be part of the Women’s Affinity Group at LGA! Being part of this group allows me the opportunity to listen and learn from both our established and up-and-coming female leaders. The different perspectives, concerns, and ideas shared are an invaluable resource for creating an equitable future for everyone at LGA and in the profession as a whole.”
– Shannon Katz, Manager, Audit & Assurance
“To me, being a part of the Women’s Affinity Group means helping my peer women to make their voices heard, be equally respected and recognized. I love hearing the stories of other group members how they achieved their success. I enjoy learning and sharing ideas. My goal is to make a difference.”
