In 2025, LGA proudly celebrates 45 years of serving our clients with dedication, pragmatism, and the steadfast support of a trusted advisor. This anniversary is more than a measure of time; it’s a testament to the lasting relationships we’ve nurtured, the meaningful results we’ve delivered, and the trust we’ve earned by staying focused on what matters most: our clients.
While others may merge, consolidate, or bring in outside investors, we remain fiercely independent. That independence keeps us closely connected to the businesses, families, and communities we serve. As we look to the future, our commitment remains unwavering: to provide responsive service, practical guidance, and long-term value.
1980
The firm is started by Herb Litman and Jerry Gerson in Tower Office Park with 5 employees. They choose the name Litman Gerson & Co.
1990
The firm moves to 500 W. Cummings Park in Woburn, MA, now with 10 employees
2014
The firm has grown to 30 employees and expanded into NH.
2018
John Geraci is named Managing Partner and the firm rebrands to LGA, LLP.
2021
LGA merges with ALL CPAs, and now has offices in Woburn, MA, Chestnut Hill, MA, and Salem, NH, with over 130 employees.
2025
LGA is 170-team members strong, still client-focused, and still fiercely independent.

LGA carries on the tradition of its founders, Herb Litman and Jerry Gerson, who for over three decades, built a successful organization focused on delivering outstanding client service, continually striving to become their client’s trusted advisors. Their tireless work and dedication to the profession has laid the foundation for the firm’s continued growth and success into it’s second generation of leadership. We are grateful for their vision and incredible support over their years and carry on their legacy by living the values that they established for us to follow.
