What kind of impact will I have as a co-op, intern, or entry-level team member?: From day one, you’ll work on meaningful client engagements, including real billable work. You’ll also go through structured trainings and mock client scenarios that help you build confidence, develop skills, and see the tangible results of your contributions.
How will I be supported and mentored while learning on the job?: At LGA, every student is paired with a buddy through our buddy program. Your buddy is someone you can turn to with any question (big or small) helping you navigate onboarding and the first weeks on the job. While everyone at LGA is friendly and approachable, having one person you know personally makes getting up to speed easier and more comfortable. You’ll also receive guidance from mentors and leaders throughout your experience.
Can I explore different areas of accounting?: Yes! Our externship program is designed specifically to give students exposure to multiple service lines and different types of client work. You’ll get the chance to learn what you enjoy most, discover your strengths, and make informed decisions about your career path.
