I think we can all agree that 2020 has truly been a year unlike any other in many ways. But why would that stop our annual holiday party celebration? If anything, it’s more essential than ever before to destress and stay connected with our LGA family. Our virtual party included a throwback slideshow of the year and a Yankee swap activity. However, don’t be fooled, this Yankee swap was like no other! We separated in break out rooms where we were surprised to learn that the leadership team purchased all the gifts to use to play the game. You really couldn’t end up with a “bad” gift; some of the gifts included a Samsung Smart TV, Johnny Walker Blue, Nespresso Machine, Apple Watch… need I say more?
“It was great to chat with co-workers I hadn’t met before, especially in such a fun social, gift-giving setting! So grateful for the people who organized and generously funded our holiday party – LGA is the best,” says Business Advisory, Associate, Jake Stavros.
It astounds me how LGA continues to find new and creative ways to bring our team together! This year’s holiday party was no exception! Over 60 people joined our Holiday zoom Party; we even had designated “Elves” hosting different breakout rooms for a virtual Yankee Swap. I couldn’t imagine a better virtual party,” said Administrator, Katey Alleva.
“During these times, it has been a challenge to find normalcy. The LGA holiday party was one of those times where I felt a sense of normalcy. The whole firm attended a virtual holiday party where teams broke out into rooms to do a Yankee Swap. This virtual Yankee Swap felt like we were in the office, like we were once upon a time, says Audit & Attest, Manager, Dan Pare. LGA continues to find ways to create some much-needed fun and I was amazed with how well-planned this event was, it was a blast and the gifts were out of this world! I’ll definitely be putting my Yeti cooler to use!”
“The holiday party at LGA brought everyone joy in this difficult time. There were gifts for everyone, and we all had a great time. Even though it was a Zoom party, the connection, the laughter, and the toasts were as real and genuine as a physical party. LGA team, knows how to have fun,” said Audit & Attest, Associate, Dea Bejleri.
“The holiday party was a great time to get together as a team and celebrate. As a new team member, it was awesome to see the great culture we have here at LGA and develop relationships with people who I do not work with on a daily basis. The gift was very much appreciated, and Santa treated us all well,” says Tax Senior, Paul DiBono.
