July was an eventful month for LGA as we eased back into enjoying events at the office and celebrating special occasions in person instead of via Zoom! We hosted some fun outdoor events, celebrated special life moments, and even gathered off-site for drinks, food, and great company. We kicked off the month with The Great LGA Bake Off. The home bakers went all out to showcase their talents! Entries included frosted lemon cake, mini chocolate chip cookie cups, tres leches, peanut butter chocolate cheesecake, oatmeal cream pies, banana walnut ice cream and chocolate chip cookies!

Throughout the day, our team members strolled in and out of the kitchen tasting the goodies and casting their votes. We all gathered in the kitchen as the votes were tallied – the oatmeal cream pies took the win!Bake off group picture

Cookout Cropped
The Annual LGA Summer Cookout was held on a beautiful afternoon. We enjoyed an early end to the workday surrounded by great food and drink and even better friends!

Some of our team members gathered after work for a fun filled Thirsty Thursday evening at Tuscan Village in Salem, New Hampshire. The weather was perfect for a night out on the patio, the drinks were flowing, and folks had a chance to relax and enjoy time together.

This week, The LGA Connects team assembled a fun game of Ladder Ball! Typically, these events bring out our team members’ competitive sides (even if the only prize is bragging rights) and this Ladder Ball tournament was no exception! The most important part is to have fun – something we all seem to have mastered.

The last of our July festivities was a baby shower to celebrate LGA’s newest addition, a baby girl due in September. We played a game of “baby bow hunt” where 40 little pink bows were scattered around the kitchen area and the person who found the most, won!

It has been so exciting and refreshing to be able to spend some quality time together in person after being virtual for so long! All the committees involved in making these events happen put a great deal of creativity, time, and effort into making them special and fun. Having exciting team events to look forward to is part of what makes LGA’s people-oriented culture worth celebrating. We can’t wait to share with you all of the events we’ve got in store for August!
