Steve joined LitmanGerson Associates, LLP in 2005 and brought over 30 years of experience in public accounting. Before founding his own firm in 1987, Steve had gained valuable experience in the tax department of a national accounting firm, where he developed a deep understanding of a wide range of tax matters. His knowledge spanned corporate, partnership, individual, trust, and estate taxation. Steve also had specialized experience in handling dual citizenship and expatriate tax issues, as well as the taxation of foreign entities.

Steve worked extensively with closely held companies, investment partnerships, venture capital firms, and their portfolio companies. Additionally, he provided individual income tax planning and personal financial planning services for many years, helping clients address complex financial situations. His experience representing businesses, individuals, trusts, and estates before federal and state taxing authorities added another layer of comprehensive service to his client relationships.
