Jim joined LGA in 2019 with the merger of Vasil Dowd Silveira, CPA’s, where he was a partner.  Owner managed businesses have turned to Jim for tax and business guidance on a wide range of issues including tax planning and compliance, structuring deals to reduce clients’ income tax liabilities, and helping them to obtain financing. His client roster over his 30 years in public accounting has included companies in the fields of construction, engineering, and contract services.  Jim began his career at the Ogden Corporation.
