As the end of the summer is slowly approaching, we are saying goodbye to our interns, David Levine, Derek Reilly, Evan Toma, Kevin Montalti and Matthew Mostyn. Reflecting on all of your productivity this summer, we hope that you look back on your time at LGA feeling proud of your accomplishments. The LGA family is wishing you a continued fun-filled summer; we hope you’re able to squeeze in one more adventure before returning to campus! Here’s what some of our interns had to say about their summer at LGA!
“My time at LGA has taught me a lot about the accounting profession. Going from being a college student to jumping into busy season was difficult but the LGA Family was always there to help when I needed it. I look forward to coming back and joining the LGA Family full time in June of 2022.” – Derek Reilly
“I am very thankful for the opportunity LGA provided me for a Tax Season co-op, which was extended into the summer. Working in the Tax Department was a very educational experience, and I can’t wait to join Team LGA full time after school!” – David Levine
“After interning at LGA this summer, I feel like I’ve learned so much not just about accounting, but about all of the aspects that go into being a professional in the workplace. Everyone from the partners to the associates was very helpful in ensuring I had all the necessary resources to succeed as an auditor, answering any questions I had, and always being available to talk. Additionally, the heavy emphasis on building a healthy work-life balance truly translates to a one-of-a-kind work environment.” – Evan Toma
“The best part of the internship has to be the people. Every single person within the audit department was always willing to lend you a helping hand or answer any question. The experience was the opposite of intimidating and really allowed me to get comfortable and learn about the world of audit.” – Kevin Montalti
