Adrienne Mayer, CPA, MST has 20 years of professional experience in public accounting with emphasis on international tax issues and the application of US tax laws on in-patriate and ex-patriate tax filings and compliance. She assists both foreign nationals who are not US citizens, planning to live/work or immigrate to the US (in-patriates) and US citizens or green card holders working and/or living overseas (ex-patriates) with tax compliance challenges and concerns. She also provides tax planning to high net worth individuals and business owners.

Adrienne prides herself in helping to reduce clients’ tax liabilities, while making the process as painless as possible. She believes in responding to needs in a timely manner and being available for consultation.

Personal

Adrienne is fluent in Afrikaans. She grew up in a small farming community in South Africa. After college, she moved to Israel, learned Hebrew on a kibbutz, and went to work as an accountant for KLM, Royal Dutch Airlines, before moving to the US with her husband. Her interest in international tax law and how it impacts the US stems from her love of travel. She can relate to the challenges involved for individuals and families accepting a foreign assignment abroad and the need for tax counseling to make them aware of requirements they must satisfy to take advantage of special deductions and US tax credits. She lives in Framingham with her family.
